Fig Tree Pride
Lion pride in Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya.
The Fig Tree Pride is a Talek River–based lion pride in the Masai Mara National Reserve, centered around the Fig Tree area and nearby riverine thickets. It is built around a tight, experienced core of lionesses, known for coordinated hunting in river habitats. Among guides, it’s regarded as a resilient, semi-resident river pride rather than a dominant one.
