The Birmingham Pride is a lion pride located in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger ecosystem in South Africa. The pride has been associated with the famous Birmingham male coalition, a group of dominant male lions that controlled large parts of Timbavati and neighboring reserves for several years. The pride typically consists of several adult females and their cubs and is known for strong territorial behavior and successful cooperative hunting. Some lions in the Timbavati region also carry the rare white-lion gene, which occasionally appears in cubs.
