Nsolo males
Male lion coalition in South Luangwa National Park, Zambia.
The Nsolo Males are a dominant coalition of two male lions that control the Nsolo and Nkonzi areas of South Luangwa National Park. Their territory includes both the Nsolo Pride and the Nkonzi Pride, over which they maintain firm control. The coalition arrived from the Nsefu Sector in 2021, successfully taking over the territory and establishing themselves as the dominant males in the region. Since then, they have defended their range against rival lions and continued to hold one of the key territories in the central part of the park. Known for their strength and dominance, the Nsolo Males are among the most powerful lion coalitions in South Luangwa National Park.
