It forms part of the Blue Canyon Conservancy within the Greater Kruger biosphere and is home to diverse wildlife including lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, cheetahs, giraffes and African wild dogs. The reserve offers guided safari experiences in a protected Lowveld bushveld ecosystem.
